30 HR Remedial Real Estate Course: CLASSROOM
New York Real Estate Remedial Course is offered in a variety of flexible schedules. Instructor handouts and review materials are included in tuition.
This course is a prerequisite to "bridge the gap" for currently licensed Salesperson who have taken 45-hour Salesperson course prior to June 30, 2008 wish to obtain a Broker’s license. The New York State Department of State increased Salesperson course requirement from 45 hours to 75 hours effective from July 01, 2008.
This course will NOT satisfy New York State Educational Requirements for a new Salesperson. This course is only for students who passed a 45-hour Salesperson course and never received a license or a Real Estate Agent becoming a Broker who originally took the 45-hour Salesperson course prior to June 30, 2008.
No state exam is given for the 30-hour Remedial Course, however, students must take school exam and pass an end of the course. Those passing the exam also earn 19.5 hours of continuing education credits (3.0 hours of Fair Housing would still be needed to fulfill the 22.5-hour CE requirement.) to renew their license.
